The Art Incubator, located in downtown Syracuse, was specifically designed to foster a creative community by providing a shared space for artists to exhibit and collaborate. The building spans a width of 75 ft and a depth of 25 ft, with a vertical design influenced by the site's unique characteristics. The circulation of the building was carefully considered to allow for a seamless transition between floors, providing users with moments of compression and decompression as they move throughout the space. The façade of the building extends onto the sidewalk, inviting passersby to engage with the art within and furthering the goal of creating a vibrant and connected artistic community.
